IT Account Executive - Schaumburg, IL

Pulse Technology is seeking an IT Account Executive will be involved in selling a wide range of technology offerings and service to provide customize solutions to fit customers unique needs. To be successful in this role; you must be very driven, competitive, and resilient. You must be technical yet sales-oriented, team-focused, aggressive, and have great people skills.


  • Prospect and qualify potential clients daily to ensure adequate revenue pipeline.
  • Act as liaison between potential and current clients and the company to ensure customer’s expectations are met and goodwill maintained.
  • Manage assigned accounts within your given territory in an exceptional and timely manner, following the sales process in discovery, assessment, alignment, validation, proposal, and on-going business reviews.
  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and ensure proper information flow between management, so that stated sales goals and objectives are met.
  • Identify new potential opportunities through qualifying while prospecting, during meetings and conducting an assessment for IT and MNS services to include but not limited to voice and data, security, phone systems, software, hardware, and help desk services.
  • Use sales activities & database management to reach communicate and track project results: appointments, on-site workflow analysis, solution collaboration presentations, proposals, implementation of solutions and account reviews.
  • Collaborate with other sales professionals and specialist to develop solutions.


  • BS/BA degree in business or another related field
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience

The IT Service Engineer and Manager – MSP will drive special projects with a focus on processes and related business operations systems integration and automation. The position includes hands-on project-based work, acting as an escalation point, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and managing a team of 10 Engineers.

IT Service Engineer and Manager – MSP Responsibilities:

· Act as the point of escalation for the resolution of highly complex issues and risks that have been escalated.

· Oversee the day-to-day operational, product/solution, and service delivery functions across all lines of business.

· Develop and refine service delivery and fulfillment processes and tools to ensure repeatability and standardization; process management; alerting, escalation, and management of risks; SLAs and KPIs.

· Lead teams and drive execution of service delivery initiatives and help maintain customer satisfaction at the highest level.

· Cross collaboration with the sales team to develop solutions that best fit the needs of our client base.

· Displaying strong inter-personal and communication skills for client satisfaction

· Assist with project planning and resource estimation for new projects

· Providing technical recommendations and guidance for projects

· Evaluating and ensuring completed work meets quality standards

· Certification in at least one IT discipline relevant to this position

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role

· Self-motivated, able to make independent choices, free from immediate direction or supervision

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in providing first-line IT support

· Able to work evenings and weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications:

· We are willing to provide some additional training for the technologies or services below, but you must have a solid understanding of the basics.

· Experience mentoring and cross-training IT staff and providing guidance in day-to-day operations

· Experience in pre-sales engineering-type role in recommending solutions to clients

· Experience in MSP or multi-client support role

· Server administration including Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019, clustered hypervisors, Windows operating systems, MS Cluster Server, and VMWare

· Familiarity with appropriate server OS-level tools, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, including the creation/deletion of user accounts, devices, and policies.

· Knowledge of applying patches and updates for Windows servers and clients

· Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting network switches, routers, access points, and other network devices.

· Administered and supported security firewalls such as SonicWall (Training provided for WatchGuard)

· Experience resolving network and stand-alone printer issues

· Office 365 Tenant administration (Licensing, Azure, ADFS, Active Directory Premium).

· Office 365 monitoring service health, and management of service requests

· Knowledge of redundancy strategies and disaster recovery contingency planning

· Ability to explore and analyze new technologies and make recommendations to supervisor

· Responsible for lifting, pushing and pulling information technology equipment up to 50 pounds

Parts Coordinator - Schaumburg, IL

Pulse Technology is looking for a full time Parts Coordinator to join our team at our Schaumburg, IL location. Pulse Technology is known as the culmination of 3 family owned companies coming together and continuing to grow in an ever-changing digital world.

Position Details:

  • Receiving, organizing and maintaining all parts in warehouses and helping with imaging supplies whenever necessary.
  • Efficiently process special requested parts and supplies, which includes ordering, receiving, transferring and distributing of items.
  • Provide the service manager with a list of all parts holds over 3 days old and the reason the part hold has not been filled (should occur on a daily basis).
  • Purchase and monitor inventory of parts for the service department; maintaining the minimum stocking levels in the accounting program, selling or returning to vendor any obsolete inventory, purchasing at best level pricing.
  • Reorder reports need to be run weekly and used as guide- lines for placing parts orders.
  • Receivers and transfer sheets need to be entered daily in order to assure correct reporting in the accounting system.
  • Conducted usage reports need to be run quarterly per technician and compared to minimum stocking levels to insure technicians are carrying the parts that are used frequently but are not carrying more parts than necessary.
  • Overnight orders need to be evaluated weekly with the Service Supervisor to decide if parts needed to be added to the main warehouse.
  • Conduct proper physical inventories: one service technician's inventory a week at least 3 out of 4 weeks a month, and the entire parts department throughout the year.
  • Receive all freight and courier delivered merchandise.
  • Maintenance of the parts room and warehouse are necessary to make optimum use of the space.

  • Must be computer literate with experience in spreadsheets
  • Must be familiar with Internet and ordering sites and requirements.

Account Executive - Mailing Machine Equipment - Chesterton, IN

The Account Executive will work with customers to determine the best mailing solution for each customer’s needs, and serve as liaison between the customer and the technicians who install the equipment at the customer’s site. The Account Executive will contact potential new customers as well as supporting the needs of existing ones.



Prior experience in selling mailing machine equipment is helpful but we will train the exceptional candidate.


The Account Executive will thoroughly familiarize himself/herself with postal regulation applications as they apply to mailing systems. The Account Executive will become familiar with the various solutions for mailing including shipping systems, mail machines, and folder/inserters.


The successful candidate must understand business processes, possess strong verbal and written communications skills, be customer-focused and results-driven.


Essential Functions

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary due to meetings with management, network events, training programs, and other events. Corporate hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.



A safe and reliable automobile to travel to and from client locations, networking events, training programs and the like is a necessity.
