Front Desk Receptionist – Schaumburg, IL

Pulse Technology is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the face of the organization while also taking on some financial responsibilities related to invoicing, payments, and record-keeping. This multifaceted role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills to efficiently manage front desk tasks while contributing to the administrative operations of the company.

Supervisory Skill:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Objectives:

  • Welcoming visitors, determining the nature of their business, and announcing visitors to appropriate team members, including signing in/out key fobs for visitors.
  • Receive, screen, route, and respond to incoming telephone calls, answering questions about the organization and providing callers with requested information about the business.
  • Ensure outgoing mail is sent out daily, including daily invoices and monthly statements.
  • Sort and deliver incoming mail to relevant departments in a timely manner, as incoming payments are time-sensitive for processing.
  • Obtain and enter customer information into the company software.
  • Send out company-wide/office-wide communication related to meetings, company events, building-related matters, etc.
  • Update invoices and reconcile customer accounts by applying credits to invoices and taking payments from customers.
  • Maintain a low aging balance on accounts and follow up with past due accounts.

Tier 2 Service Desk Analyst – Schaumburg, IL

We are looking for a highly capable Service Desk Analyst II to assess and optimize the performance of our end-user IT systems and software. You will be analyzing the performance of IT systems, resolving IT equipment and software issues, and providing IT support to our clients and personnel. To ensure success as a Service Desk Analyst, you should exhibit sound knowledge of IT system analysis and experience in an IT support role. Responsibilities
