Google adds live threat detection and screen-sharing protection to Android

Google has enhanced Android's security with live threat detection and screen-sharing protection. The live threat detection uses AI within the Google Play Protect system to identify and disable malicious apps or alert users and Google for further review. New screen-sharing features in Android 15 hide sensitive information and allow users to share content from specific apps only. Additionally, Android 15 will limit sideloaded apps' access to sensitive permissions and protect against threats from cell site simulators by alerting users about unencrypted networks and potential surveillance​.
